In Vista, the gadget sidebar only appears on the first desktop, but not on any of the others.

Notes
- the right column of the screen is inaccessible where the gadget sidebar should be
- looks like it has the right column sectioned off for the sidebar, but the sidebar isn't there, and can't move the mouse there
- here is a similar post ... it's similar though not the same as my issue

Have you tried to create a rule to make the sidebar show up on all screens? I had the same problem but fixed it with such a rule
