several issues

Postby ondras » 14.01.2007 20:50:20

Hi,

I would like to report two issues:

* Incompatibility with Aston shell: when Aston is running, only one desktop (the first active desktop) has wallpaper. All other desktops have solid background.

* Incompatibility with multiple monitors: I cannot set a wallpaper for each monitor (my two monitors have different aspect ratios, so I use different wallpapers)

Thanks for fixing these!

Hi,

Dexpot has only limited multi-monitor support at the moment. It is not possible to show different desktops on each monitor.
There is no multi-monitor support in progress at the moment.

Regards

I cannot set a wallpaper for each monitor

If I'm not mistaken, Windows doesn't support this natively either...

Hello. A long-time Dexpot user here. First of all I can never thank you enough for making this wonderful piece of software gem free. Dexpot outperforms every virtual destop utilities for Windows out there. Its customizability is unmatched, yet it's surprisingly intuitive to use.

There is only one thing, however, that I find Dexpot lacking (not really lacking, just not fully implemented): support for multi-monitor setups. From desktop preview to window catalogue, only stuff on the primary monitor is shown. It's not a big drawback, certainly not enough to push me away from Dexpot, but please consider it a feature request.

Wish you the best in life. Best regards,
