can't cope with changing monitors/resolutions

Running dexpot 1.4.0 build 472 on a Windows XP laptop. It is usually docked and connected to a larger monitor. I started using dexpot while undocked. Upon docking and telling Windows to switch to the monitor and higher res, I found that I also had to tell dexpot the new res. This is annoying but I suppose I could live with it. Unfortunately, there is still some confusion --- maximizing a window does not use the full screen. I've had to leave each window unmaximized and drag the edges to fill the screen.

I suppose I can try a reboot and restart while at the hi res, then see what happens when I undock, and also redock. Should be interesting.

A quick followup -- if I reboot and launch dexpot while at the high resolution, there are no apparent ill effects when I later undock and switch back to low, and all is still well on all subsequent switches back and forth. So, as long as I don't have to reboot while undocked, I should be ok...

Hi,

did you see the Dexpot resulution configuration in 'Configure Desktops'. Maybe it helps.

The Resolution setting on Configure Desktops is how I told dexpot to use the higher resolution on all desktops. The results were as I stated.
