Selectively showing icons in Desktop Preview

Is there any way to not show the icons in Desktop Preview when the icons are part of a rule that is shown on all desktops?
For instance - I have an IM client rule where certain IM windows will be copied to All Desktops. What I would like is to not have the icons for these IM windows show up in the preview. Is there anyway to do this with version 1.4?
