Desktops Switching on their own

I hope someone can help, because this is ruining an otherwise great experience with Dexpot.

I have 3 desktops. When I am working in desktop 3 and a dialog box opens in a program, the desktop switches to desktop 2 for no reason. On another occasion, I started typing an address in Chrome on desktop 1 and the desktop switched to desktop 2 for no reason. It seems that if I return to the desired desktop 3x, the desktops stop automatically switching. I double checked Settings > Plugins to ensure Do Nothing is enabled. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
