Applications showing up on wrong desktops

Hey guys,

When I switch desktops (with by global view and specific shortcuts) the applications get jumbled. And show up on the wrong desktop (often in duplicate).

Any known way to fix?

Running Windows 8.1 x64.

im having the same issue and also am on 8.1 x64.

when and how it happens:

-if i launch an app that takes a few secs and switch between desktops it opens in the new desktop
-if i set a desktop rule to open an application on desktop 2 when dexpot runs it shows up in the first desktop
-if i set a desktop rule to open an application on desktop 2 when entering desktop 2, if i switch to desktop 2 and wait few seconds then switch back to desktop 1 it opens in desktop 1
-if i open a media player in desktop 2 and select a huge list of files, press open and before the playlist updates i switch to desktop 1 when the list loads the media player gets moved/shows up in desktop 1

I have the same issue on Windows 7. Applications like Chrome, Notepad++, Outlook, Pidgin, and so on all get moved over to the wrong desktops. MRemote is the biggest offender. I am using DisplayFusion for a second task bar on my second monitor. This is really frustrating. I replicated this issue on Windows 8.1 as well.
