Desktop 1 background becomes that of previous desktop

Desktops 1 and 2 have different backgrounds, selected from a couple of my picture files. When I switch to desktop 2, then switchback to desktop 1, the background of desktop 1 becomes that of desktop 2. I have used Dexpot's "Configure Desktops" to specify the backgrounds in each case. Windows 7, x86 and latest version of Dexpot.

Any suggestions?

Just to add, the desktops shown in Configure Desktops are as I want them to be, i.e., Desktop 1 in Configure Desktops is not as it actually appears when I return there, even after I click Refresh while in desktop 1.

This usually happens when the background image for one desktop is broken or somehow incompatible so Windows can't load it as a wallpaper. Try a different image file.

Patrick, thanks for the reply. I just tried a couple of different pictures and some work fine, others not. I'll just find two that work all the time, I guess.
