On startup, Dexpot places some apps on the wrong desktop.
I have a number (varies) of Windows Explorer windows (folders) open when I shut down my computer.
When I restart the computer, after I log-in, Windows re-opens the folders that were open before the computer was shutdown.
Depending on how many folders there are to open, this process can be instantaneous, or can take a short but noticable amout of time to complete (probably 2 seconds or less, for a test of 40 windows).
Dexpot places the first 2 or 3 of these windows on desktop 1, and the remainder of the windows on desktop 2. None on desktop 3 or 4.
I am running Dexpot v-1.6.4.2186 on Windows 7 Home Premium-x64 (fully updated).

By what mechanism do they get moved? Do you use Desktop Rules?
Re: On startup, Dexpot places some apps on the wrong desktop
No, I don't use any desktop rules.
I don't think the windows are actually being moved.
I don't know if this a possible scenario, but I think this is what's happening:
1) I have, let's say 30 folders open (could be more or less) with Windows Explorer on Desktop 1.
2) No other apps open on any other desktops.
3) I reboot the computer. Windows remembers which folders are open.
4) Windows restarts and after login, Windows begins opening up all the Windows Explorer windows that were remembered from before the reboot.
5) Meanwhile, Dexpot is launching (configured to launch on Windows startup).
6) Dexpot looks and finds the Windows Explorer windows that have already opened and assigns them to desktop 1.
7) The remaining Windows Explorer windows open, and Dexpot assigns them to desktop 2.
Perhaps during launch, Dexpot is momentarily switching to desktop 2 and these remaining Windows Explorer windows are opening during that time, so Dexpot is seeing them as desktop 2 windows.
At this point, I returned to desktop 1 and I closed Dexpot. All the desktop 2 windows were shown (as expected). Then, I restarted Dexpot. All the Windows Explorer windows were assigned to Dexpot desktop 1 as expected.
At this point, all the Windows Explorer windows remain on desktop 1 as they should.
If you are unable to duplicate this, let me know and I will try various cases to see if I can tell what might make it happen or not happen.
