locked full screen mode?

Postby Brynjard » 16.11.2012 14:36:01

Hello all, new to the forum as I am new to the software itself, using the trial. I have a 40" TV which I use as a monitor for my PC, running w7 32 bit. Connection is made through HDMI so resolution-wise, I can perfectly see stuff in my full screen preview, without having to maximize a certain desktop (note that 40" split in 4 means I have 4 x 20" virtual monitors).

I could not find an option anywhere to lock it in full screen mode, so my question is:
- Is there such an option?
- If not, could you please recommend me a software that does 4 way split screen with locked full screen mode (preferably freeware)?

When it comes down to writing essays for my university, I'd really like to use 1 for my text editor, 2 for sources and research and the 4th for youtube, winamp, or clips (studying Film so there, you have my excuse :D .. haha typical relaxed student here)

I would like to suggest such an option for future versions of the software (if there isn't one, i think i would've found it by now, just want to make sure with you guys). Also, what do you think of such an improvement?

:dex:

No, there's no such option. I'm also not aware of any other program which does this.

It would be a cool feature to have, probably even a useful one for special scenarios, but I'm not sure if it's technically feasible to do it in a way that works reliably with every application.
