Hey there - I just upgraded to 1.6.1r2121, and am having a brand-new problem I never encountered with 1.5.8 (which is what I'd been using until today).
I run a DAW using four desktops, and have never had a problem switching desktops while playing audio until today. Suddenly (since the upgrade), every time I switch desktops, the DAW stops playing and tells me the data could not be streamed fast enough. Somehow Dexpot is interrupting its disk access and causing it to fail.
I'm going to switch back to an earlier version for now, but please let me know if I can help troubleshoot. Not sure if it's a DMA issue, a HDD access issue, or what, but it's very frustrating. I love Dexpot too much to let it go (I'm trying to get my company to buy licenses for everyone so I can use it at work), but I'll have to wait until this particular bug is fixed.
dankeschön for making such an amazing product. I don't know how I survived without it before.

Re: Disk streaming problems
Update:
On a whim, when I installed 1.5.8 again, I let it upgrade to 1.5.18r2098... and it works flawlessly. I haven't the time to troubleshoot more tonight, but it seems there's something either in 1.6 or in the latest beta build that's causing the error. I'll try to pin down the exact revision that causes the problem when I have a little more time. And again, danke!!

Re: Disk streaming problems

DAW = Digital audio workstation? Which software exactly? Windows version?
I doubt it's really a disk access problem, but just in case, try lowering Dexpot's process priority (Settings > General > Start).
