Dexpot with an extra monitor

I've been using Dexpot for a while now, and have found it invaluable, with relatively no problems. Recently, however, I began using an extended monitor. The problem is, when I switch desktops on one monitor, the other switches as well. I can't find a way to leave one monitor alone while switching the desktop in the other.

Is there a way to keep Dexpot from effecting the second monitor?

What I really want is to keep Dexpot on my first(main) monitor, switching between desktops, while being able to continuously glance back at what I have on the second monitor.

So basically:
I don't want multiple desktops on one monitor, but I do want several on the other.
Is this possible? If so, how do I do this?
