All desktops have all icons from desktop 1

I just installed the program. I read the quick start guide. It said that number 2 desktop should be blank. It is not. Desktops 2, 3 and 4 all have the exact same icons as my number 1 desktop,

If I open desktop 2, 3 or 4, and delete the icons, they are also deleted from desktop 1.

I wanted to use this program because i have a cluttered desktop, and i want to move some of these icons to blank desktops 2, 3 or 4. but i cannot do this if all desktops have all icons.

I am using Windows 7 64 bit home premium.

Please help.

i am having the same issue. the switching desktops setting is disabled. any ideas?

This works. Thankyou very much. Excellent tool. One last question - occasionally when I launch it it remains in the Win 7 taskbar as an icon allowing me to hover over it for selection of the desktop. How can i get it to do this all the time?

Plugin: SevenDex

thanks for this. only problem is that when i attempt to click on "sevendex" in the plug in section of the settings nothing happens. any thoughts?

Make sure you're clicking on the checkbox to the left of the plugin name and not the name itself.

If that doesn't help, check in the Task Manager whether there is a SevenDex.exe process running. If not, try manually starting the plugin executable (usual location is C:\Program Files\Dexpot\plugins\SevenDex.exe).
