Disappearing icons

Hello all, I have just installed Dexpot with on my windows 7 computer. It works perfectly except the fact that one one of my desktop it keeps hiding the icons. I know there there because if I try to remake the shortcuts it asks me if I want to copy and replace or just replace the files. Does anyone know why this is happening?

Also on an unrelated side note Do I have to copy the recycle bin to each desktop?
