Individual Screen names
Individual Screen names
i, Dexpot is excellent. Is there any way to have a different name for each screen that will appear on the screen and stay on that screen until the screens are switched. Thanks, Blocka

Greetings blocka
Great to have you here with us
First Go to the Dexpot Icon in the systems tray, and right click.
Open the settings Dialog

#1) Go to "Switching Desktops"
#2) Select the "Desktop Names" Tab
#3) Select the "Permanent" Option
#4) Select, name and choose options for each desktop
Click apply and you should be good to go

Re: Individual Screen names
Hi, thanks for the reply. Located what was in your instructions but i am having trouble with entering the desktop names still. I have gone to the variable drop down window which has four entries. The top one is '%gcurrent desktop' and the second has'%Gcurrent desktop'. I have five desktops. Is this where i enter the names and if so what is the format in relation to '%gcurrent desktop & '%Gcurrent desktop' ? Can you give me an example of what you put in these boxes. I have tried various combinations but mostly the same desktop names comes on all desktops. Thanks for your help.

you enter the desktop name in 'Configure desktops'. Choose that dialogue from the main menu.
%G is just a wildcard character for the name of the current desktop.
