Modify screen resolution message box problems/suggestions

When switching to a desktop with a different resolution (when "Customize screen resolution", and "Ask before changing screen resolution" are selected), the message box seems to appear in the background (I have to use alt-tab, or run a different program, for it to appear).

Also I think there should be a cancel button for canceling the switch
