Yes, that looks like a bug. Should be fixed in the next version. Thanks for the thorough investigation.

Re: Middle click hides applications instead of quitting
If a window is visible on multiple desktops, middle click only hides it from the selected desktop. You can use 'Ctrl + Middle mouse button' to force closing on all desktops.

Re: A workspace/virtual desktop for each monitor
No, it's not the same. The first case isn't even virtual desktops any more. In the second case, each monitor can switch individually,, but it's still just one big desktop overall.
You can't.

Re: A workspace/virtual desktop for each monitor
:dex: I'm not completely sure what you're proposing. Do you want a separate, independent desktop on each monitor, like running virtual machines? That's not possible. Or do you want the ability to switch desktops on one monitor, while the other remains on another desktop? "Settings > Switching D...

Re: Problem with Notepad++
It's not how it's supposed to work, generally. Dexpot returns to desktop 2 because of an activation of Notepad++. I don't know why this activation occurs, why three times, or if it's Notepad++ itself or a plugin. We could add a timeout to the next version, so an automatic switch can't immediately br...

Re: Dexgrid - preview when switching
Yes, theoretically it would be possible to show previews similar to those in the SevenDex plugin, but it's currently not planned to do this. Maybe as an option in a future version.

Re: Binding {WinKey + Key} not allowed?
Dexpot is not hard-coded to disallow any particular hotkeys. If some Win key combination are still registered by Windows despite the NoWinKeys setting, then indeed AutoHotkey may be your best option.

Do newly opened windows get copied to Desktop 5? "Apply Rules" only affects windows on the current desktop.
