By the way, as the original poster mentioned, it does work as expected when choosing "On First Entry". But that means starting the application on the 2nd desktop does not happen automatically on boot. Unless you can cycle through the desktops on start up?

No, that won't work as the application that is being started is java.exe in both cases. Is there any other way to achieve what I want?
