Re: Possibility to arrange desktop in a N x M grid, not line
From another question, which resolved both N x M grid, and not wrapping around: There is a build-in plugin called Dexgrid. Enable this. This have its own key bindings (so remove the existing ones, defining the new), and one can turn of the wrapping!

Moving windows along with desktop switch should keep on top
When I use the hotkey for moving a window along with desktop switch, it should be move to foreground on the target desktop - immediately. The problem is that when I want to move a window e.g. three desktops across, I focus the window, and hit "ctrl+alt+shift arrow right". This moves the wi...

Possibility to arrange desktop in a N x M grid, not linear
I would prefer to have a grid of 2 x 3 desktops instead of a linear 6 desktops. This is what I am used to from the Linux environments I have used, and it gives me a much higher degree of "geographic locality" realization in my head. The mail/comms setup is "up to the left", while...

Controls for Next and Previous desktop should stop at ends
I would much prefer that the desktops didn't cycle when I use the Next and Previous Desktop feature (I e.g. have Ctrl+Alt plus arrow keys) - so that when I was at Desktop 1, or at Desktop <last>, going further did nothing. The reason for this, is that then I can just arrow left x 5, and be CERTAIN t...

Desktop name should be "always on top" when enabled
When enabling "Show the desktop name": "Permanently", the desktop name most often ends up below the windows on the desktop, thereby making the usability of the feature pretty close to null.
It should always render on top of everything.
It should always render on top of everything.

Lync chats, and Outlook Notifications, must appear globally
I want Outlook and Lync to be bound to a specific Desktop - but at the same time I want notifications and new chat windows to appear on all Desktops. This because I am currently evidently missing the majority of meeting notifications (from Outlook) and that people are trying to chat me. The "s...

Re: Still problems with Windows "randomly" being copied
Certainly seems like that was the problem with Chrome, given the name and values of that option, yes. Hopefully everything revolves around this one problem.

Still problems with Windows "randomly" being copied
[Just to vent my frustration right away: This is VERY annoying, and it nearly totally ruins my experience with Dexpot, which otherwise is a VERY nicely crafted piece of software.] As I mentioned in this post in 2010 , I experience windows-copying. I still do, and I see others in the forum are also e...

Re: [Windows 7] Google Chrome Windows Not Moving
I just realized what triggers this copied-Chromes situation: Opening an URL from another program. I.e., when I read my email in Outlook, and then click a link in some email (assuming that Chrome does not reside on the same desktop as Outlook). This opens up the link in a new tab in an existing Chrom...

Re: [Windows 7] Google Chrome Windows Not Moving
I just wanted to chime in on the Google Chrome problem with duplicating windows: I have this problem: Sometimes a Chrome window is duplicated to other desktops. Initial poster mentioned that is duplicated to desktop 1 - for me it is random. I use "move to next" and "move to previous&q...
