I do a lot of rdp stuff and often and swapping between 2 or 3 pc's while working here on laptop and this helps a LOT.

with rdp this is bad then, if I have to minimize windows to be able to swap desktops then there is no need to even use dexpot when using rdp. I often have 3 sessions open and can click desktop manager to swap between them. is there a way to exclude a program/service from this? for me its really unus...

yes, from what I saw (and its not extensive testing) it was only full screen.
I meant to mention that, very sorry.

so far the only item I have seen that always sits on top of the desktop manager icons is windows rdp (win7 mstsc) sessions.
when remoted into server I have to minimize the window to swap desktops. hit keys won't work as keyboard is transferred to remote machine.
