Yes. It should. But than you have the same icons on all desktops. I'd prefer to uncheck only the option "Align to grid" and "Auto Arrange".

Thanks for the reply.

So if I turn off customize desktop icons, would that make Dexpot leave all the icons where I put them? (So if they move after that, then something else is doing it?)

Thanks!

Hi,

have a look into the Dexpot Settings. Right-Click on the Dexpot tray icon>Settings.
You choose "Switching Desktops" and the tab "Desktop elements".

Here you can change the behaviour Dexpot customises the desktop icons. :D

Hi All,
Not sure if this is specifically an issue with Dexpot or some other windows settings, but help appreciate either way :)

I like turning off auto-arrange and arrange-to-grid for desktop icons, and arranging them where I want them. I recently installed dexpot, and restarted a couple of times, and the position for most of them was lost, but oddly a couple stayed where I'd put them.

Any help with what decides when this happens or if I can save desktop icon position much appreciated.
