Same question that idris dragon (different backgrounds for each virtual desktop without a second monitor) because the solution you gave doesn't work :cry: I don't find "the list on the left"...

Everything is wonderfull in this soft except this problem. So, please, give us a new solution and an answer different that "No, it's not possible".

The option is only available when multiple monitors (as in physical display devices) are connected to the computer.

If you want individual backgrounds per desktop, go to "Configure Desktops > Background" and in the list on the left select the desktop whose background you want to change.

When I go to "Configure Backgrounds", the option "Multiple-Monitor Background" is greyed out to Windows default and is not able to be changed to allow different backgrounds for the different windows..

Sorry if this is a base Windows setting, but I can not see where it is. Using Windows 8 Pro.
