If I'm using, say, desktop #2, and a program needs my attention on desktop #1, perhaps there could be a flashing icon or context alert which identifies that desktop #1 needs attention?

I know the taskbar integration plugin kind-of does this but I believe it won't flash if the program is minimized.

There's other virtual desktop software which does this (maybe the 3D cube one?) but I can't remember which.
