Desktop Manager aesthetics

Post by Joop » 24.07.2011 10:07:36

When the Desktop Manager background is set to transparent, a small 9 pixel window handle is provided to enable dragging and right clicking.

Unfortunately, on a dark background that little spot gets pretty annoying. Also unfortunately we need *something* to get a grip.

But fortunately it´s already possible to drag and right click on the box that´s drawn around the icon of the active desktop in the DM.

Actually that box has a drop-shadow which already makes it 3 pixels wide at two sides but ... alas... just the 1 pixel line of the box is clickable... Which is pretty almost exactly, but definitely not wide enough.

So, I would like to suggest to get rid of the pesky little handle and instead make the line of the "indicator box" a bit more wide. Two pixels instead of one would already be sufficient to comfortably click and drag.

Because you know what they say:"If looks could kill..."

And after all Dexpot is a killer app ... (nod)
