I would like to add my vote for this feature. I miss the Ubuntu way of moving a window and having the workspace automatically be switched to where the window was sent (and the window is still in focus).

I would really like to second this request, on moving a window to another workspace, also switch the user to the other workspace along with the window.

I would like to second this feature request. The reason I downloaded Dexpot was because the thing I missed the most between Ubuntu and Windows was virtual desktops, and this window moving behavior is default in Ubuntu: ctrl+shft+alt+arrow moves the focused window one desktop to the left or right, with the user following to that desktop.

I tried to mimic the hotkeys from Ubuntu in my Dexpot setup since I was already used to them, but sorely missed this option. Clicking and holding a window title bar while pressing ctrl+shft+alt+arrow is extremely difficult if not impossible, and it would be really awesome to see this "follow moved window" option added.

Click and hold the window's title bar with the left mouse button, then press the hotkey to switch to another desktop. The window will be moved along to the other desktop.

I suggest making a rule or something where when you move a window using a key combo, it follows to the desktop you swapped it to.
