And if those new rules could include an option to show or not show desktop icons based on a time or user activity, I would greatly appreciate it!

What I am looking for is the ability to show a complete wallpaper image unpolluted with icons, gadgets, etc. Perhaps this is really a screensaver function or???

I don't know if there are more people who would like te folowing, but I do:

Windows 7 has an feature that will random de desktop wallpaper in an specific time.
Dexpot has an feature that let you customise a wallpaper for each desktop.

I would love a way that you can do the above things the same time.

For example:
I would like desktop 1 to use the Windows 7 way (randomise wallpaper per 10 minutes) and on desktop 2 I would like that Dexpot forces an chosen wallpaper.
