Yes, the four icons which appeared in all desktops, but were not visible to dexpot were in:

C:\Users\Public\Desktop

I cut and pasted them from there to the desktop (6) where I wanted them. They are now on 6 and not on any of the other desktops.

thank you for the response.

However, that is not the problem I have. I am able to move icons from desktop to desktop just fine, copy them, have them appear on all windows etc, just like it is supposed to work.


The issue is that there are several icons that dexpot does [b]not[/b] seem to be aware of. They are not visible in the 'desktop windows' menu on the icons tab, nor are they visible in the hidden area. Consequently there is no way for me to manipulate them. They show up on all the desktops.

Any ideas?

Hi,

I have several icons which show on all desktops.

If I go to 'desktop windows' menu and select the 'icons' tab, none of the icons in question show up there. I can do that for any of the desktops and they do not show up.

Thoughts please?
