Quick Start Guide: Moving windows

If you want to use drag-and-drop, try the "Desktop Preview", the "Full-screen preview" (Windows 7 and up) or the "Taskbar Pager" plugin (Settings > Plugins and Extras).

If you're used to switching desktops with the Alt+1, Alt+2, etc. keyboard hotkeys, a convenient way to move applications is to click and hold a window's title bar and then press the target desktop's hotkey.

I hope I'm not just missing something totally obvious, but how can I move applications from one virtual desktop to another?

I see the icons of my apps in the taskbar representions of the vdesks but it appears simply dragging them from one to another does not do the job.
How is it done?
