Great it worked. I can now switch from any desktop into a Windows 8 screen (Metro app) and it works perfectly :D

I have the same issue. Mostly with the mail app, since I tend to open that a lot.

Downloaded the ini file. Hopefully that works.

Windows 8 Store Apps get bugged after desktop change

Post by LesmoCasanova » 25.10.2013 21:46:34

Hi!

I'm enjoying Dexpot so far, but I'm having a problem while switching desktops and having Windows Store Apps (the Metro Apps) open. For example, I have Internet Explorer and then switch to another desktop the App hides... as expected. When I return to the desktop where I opened the App, I'm sent to the desktop, and I have to choose the App again from either the left side bar or the Start Menu. The App would launch all over again, as if I closed the App before.

This happens also when having various Apps open in more than one desktop. Can this be fixed? I've tried adding a new rule to prevent Dexpot from hiding the App (which would be to copy the Windows.UI.Core window class) but apparently doesn't work.

Thanks in advance!
