Yes, that seems to work - thanks. Is this likely to be fixed so that the order stays the same on the taskbar too (I'm less worried by this to be honest).

:dex:

If you don't mind the window order changing in the taskbar instead, go to Settings > Plugins and Extras > Debug, enable the option "Don't keep taskbar button order" and restart Dexpot.

Window ordering when switching desktops

Hi,

I'm having a really annoying problem when switching desktops and multiple monitors. I have two Chrome windows open on a single desktop, one on each monitor - call them A and B. If I have an application (C) in front of window A and have window B active and as the focus all is well (B is at the top of the window stack on monitor 1, application C is above window B on monitor 2).

On switching desktops and then switching back, window A is now on top of application C and window B is the focus. Is it possible to set the action so that the window stack is not reordered so that all windows of the in-focus application are brought to the front on desktop switching? When I return to the desktop, the window stack should be as I left it.

I'm running 1.6 beta, but this feels like a standard behaviour so I've posted here.
