Yay for problems that fix themselves!

Also, file attachments should work again.

lmao - tried it once before, it didn't work
in the interim had restarted dexpot
tried it again, now it works. and my backgrounds are flipping properly
go figure.

something to consider - thinking this may be related to VLC video setting to allow desktop background viewing which I do periodically.

i've also done a complete uninstall of VLC and reinstall this morning so maybe that was part of the issue.

Can you change the wallpaper using the Windows Control Panel?

would be nice to attach the image

in configure desktops, desktop 1, it has a file selected in "path", it has a desktop background of gray now, has an alignment of fit, and shows in preview what one would expect it to look like properly.

changing background color works. picture does not.

:dex:

And you're sure that's caused by Dexpot? What does it say in "Configure Desktops > Background"?

Have 4 desktops, each with an assigned background.

Was working more or less till a couple days ago.

Now, all backgrounds black screen.

When I first enter the desktop at boot, the background flashes temporarily, then is blacked out, then never appears again.
