Go to "Settings > Plugins and Extras" and check if "When activating a window on another desktop" is set to "Switch to the respective".

Dexpot randomly switches desktops without any notable reason. Absolutely LOVE the program!! Unbelievable functionality and mods. Really fine job of coding.
