No, you didn't. What you reported (all icons appearing on one desktop) can only happen with the Dexpot 1.5 shared folder approach.

:dex:

Try Dexpot 1.6 Beta and make sure you're using the "separate folder" icon customization mode: Go to Settings > Switching Desktops > Desktop elements > Desktop icons and click on Advanced. Select Create a separate folder for each desktop and click OK.

Dexpot seemed to me a very promising program that I could use in my private environment. I used Dexpot for several weeks now on 2 PC's, both with versions 1.5 and 1.6

I noticed that several times after startup the icons of all 5 screens (>85!) suddenly appeared on screen 1. On the other screens a strange and illogical collection of icons appeared. Using Dexpot was no longer possible without rebuilding all icons.

The list visible in the Desktop Window configurator is not identical to the icons shown for each screen (tab icon).

Altogether it took me many hours to place the correct icons and/or make new links on the appropriate screens.

Together with the background image problem that i posted Dexpot seems not stable enough to be used, particularly in a professional environment.

I will follow Dexpot, but I cannot afford to use it any longer, because this problem can show any time.
