You mentioned that you "configured Dexcube so that it will recognize an upward flick to engage the program (same as ALT+CTRL+UP)". Neither Dexpot nor Dexcube support touch gestures on their own, so you must have used some third-party tool to achieve this. My suggestion was to still use this tool, but instead of mapping left and right flicks to the Ctrl+Alt+Arrow-key hotkeys, define key combinations for the "Switch to next/previous desktop" hotkeys and trigger those with the touch gestures.

Hi Patrick,

Thanks for your note. I'm not quite sure how to do what you suggest. I've got Dexcube activated, and I can see the Control -> Hotkey -> Switch Desktop -> Next Desktop screen. I'm assuming I'm in the right place. With Next Desktop highlighted I can uncheck the Key Combination boxes, but the Define box doesn't let me enter more than one letter, and I'm not quite sure how to indicate forward and backward "flicks".

I'm working in Windows 7, by the way.

:dex:

Try assigning the touch gestures to the Dexpot hotkeys "Switch to next desktop" and "Switch to previous desktop" instead of the Dexcube manual control hotkeys.

Ah, spam in reply. Thanks Hedsscend, everybody loves you.

I think what I really need for this to work the proper "release" code so that it returns to Dexpot from Dexcube.

So I'm using Dexpot on an Exopc tablet with Windows 7. I've configured Dexcube so that it will recognize an upward flick to engage the program (same as ALT+CTRL+UP) and Left and Right flicks to switch desktops. It engages and switches, but then freezes rather than disengages-- it remains in the zoomed out state and gives me an error message.

Any way to get this to work by touch? Suggestions?
