Icons scrambled on start-up

Post by Multi » 21.01.2011 18:41:27

This problem has plagued me now for as long as I can remember and over the past couple of days I did a bit more investigating.
I'm running Vista 64-bit Home Premium with Dexpot 1.5.8, build 1434 with a dual monitor setup, both monitors are LCD with 1920x1080 (native) resolution. Currently I am running 7 desk tops.

The problem I have is, that on power-up, the icons on desktop 1 are scrambled; IIRC, those on the other desktops are - at least close to - as expected.

Yesterday I turned on logging and this morning after finding the icon layout all wrong, the two most interesting Log entries are:
22:23:48> Laufzeitfehler 424: "Object required" in modEinstellungen.IconsDauerhaftSpeichern.
22:23:48> Laufzeitfehler 92: "For loop not initialized" in modEinstellungen.IconsDauerhaftSpeichern.

These two are the only error messages I can find and they might help track down the problem - I hope.
