I was using an instant messge program I want to keep private and so in settings I selected 'do nothing' for windows on other desktops, however a new instant message appeared on my main desktop when the program was running on desktop 2.
I guess it was a program glitch. Is there a way to avoid this happening again?
How to rules work..can I contain all program windows and new ones made to desktop 2 using a rule?
