Try looking in C:\Documents and Settings\[YOUR USERNAME]\Desktop (your desktop folder).

remember to replace "[YOUR USERNAME]" with whatever your actual username is.

"Lost" icon in Desktop Windows cannot be recovered

So I was trying to move a desktop folder I have containing many videos from one virutal desktop to another. However, it ended up in the lost folder, and cannot be restored. If I select "Show on current desktop" nothing happens. If I try and drag it to any one of my desktop, nothing happens. It seems to be lost forever. Is there a way to get this "lost" folder back? There were some important things in there. I already looked under Program Files\Dexpot, however I can't find where it's stored.

Is this folder lost forever?
