After a restart to my computer the issue with Matlab seems to be resolved. Issue with Spotify persists but buying a premium account to avoid the ads seems like a good workaround so I will not be opening a separate thread for it.

Sorry for lack of restart trial before posting.

Matlab 2014b opens on all virtual desktops

I just installed Dexpot and am really satisfied with it. My computer is running Windows 8.1. Dexpot on this computer is version 1.6.14, build 2439.

I go to virtual desktop 2 and open Matlab 2014b. When it opens, I switch to another virtual desktop and Matlab is still also there. I tried switching by mouse clicking, keybinding, Full-screen preview. Results does not change. One weird thing I noticed is if I go to Full-screen preview Matlab is not shown on the other desktops. When I switch to a desktop with a different active window Matlab is there but behind the active window.

A maybe unrelated issue is whenever Spotify changes to an ad it appears on the active virtual desktop. I probably should open a separate topic for this.

I am using two monitors. Programs open while I have this issue are Chrome (with Keep and Hangouts), Skype, AVG antivirus, Onedrive, GeForce updater, Steam, Airdroid, Oracle VPN Client, LoL replays, Google Drive, Dropbox and probably more that I cannot see from desktop icons.
