:dex:,

for window activation from another desktop, please see the following option: http://dexpot.de/?id=quickstartguide#behaviorofwindows

Dexpot cannot tell other applications how to handle invocation (e.g. open as new window, open as tab), though.

how to keep existing chrome windows on their desktops

Hello,

Is there a way to keep keep chrome (browser) windows on their respective desktops.

Here is my problem:

I'm working on multiple projects, and the browser is an important aspect of every project, research etc. I also use tabs. Each project is in it's own desktop.

When I click on a URL link in a desktop that does not have a chrome window already, it appears that _a chrome window from another desktop_ is pulled to the current desktop and the new URL is openend in a new tab.

Is it possible to:

1) have chrome open a new window if there isn't one already in the local desktop, and

2) if there already is an existing chrome window in the current desktop, open the URL as a new tab.

Thanks for any suggestions!

aa
