Thank you, this option was in some way really checked. Probably I checked it occassionally.

Do you want individual icons on each desktop at all? If not, you've accidentally enabled the option "Settings > Switching Desktops > Customize desktop icons".

Otherweise it sounds like the opposite of the "Some icons are visible on all desktops" question answered here: [FAQ] How to place different icons on each desktop. Could the shortcuts have been moved from the public desktop to Desktop 1?

I have 8 desktops, yesterday some shortcuts disappeared from desktops 2-8. I can see them only on desktop 1.

I do not remember to make some changes.
