Try the "Assign applications" feature. If you don't want to assign the program to a specific desktop, you can use "where started".

Some programs create dialog windows when they report an error. If I happen to be on another virtual desktop, they will appear there instead of on the desktop that the program that generated it is on.

I guess this wouldn't be so bad if I also didn't enable focus-follows-mouse, which, as a side effect, will also auto-raise the window that has the focus. This will cause those dialogs to hide behind some other window.

Is there an option that will force dialogs to be created in the same virtual desktop as the program that created them?
