:dex:,

it's not reproducible with the settings you described. :?

Thank you for the reply. I think I have isolated the problem. First I reset all the settings to default, then I individually changed the setting to my desired behaviour.

The one that causes the problem is when I activate the mouse switch control with left click as the trigger. I can toggle this setting off and it behaves as expected. I would be interested to see if anyone else is getting this. If not I can post all my other settings to see if it is a combination of them that is causing this problem.

:dex:,

I've tried both maximizing the Spotify window and assigning it to a particular desktop. Works fine here.
Anything else (like Dexpot or Spotify options) I need to consider?

A few more details. I have tried launching Spotify from both Desktop 1 and Desktop 2. This makes no difference.

It also only seems to appear on Desktop 1 when it is maximised in Desktop 2. Is there a way to keep it maximised, without it appearing in Desktop 1?

Assign Program to Desktop

Hi there,

I have a simple aim and I feel that Dexpot is more than capable of achieving it but I cannot make it work!
I want to have it so that when I open a program (Spotify) it opens in a specific desktop (2), without it appearing in the taskbar of other desktops.

I have gone to assign applications and set Spotify to be associated with desktop 2. However, the application is often still visible in the taskbar of Desktop 1. Note that this is not always the case, just sometimes.

I have also tried this via creating a 'Desktop Rule' so that when spotify.exe is launched it moves to Desktop 2. I have similar results.

Am I doing something wrong?
Any help would be appreciated.

Ed
