My laptop's physical O/S is Windows 7 x64. I have a Windows 7 x64 VM which runs under VMware Workstation 9. I'm using the latest version of Dexpot on both O/Ses. I have a physical partition of my hard drive mapped as a network drive to the VM. Any VM desktop icons I create from this network drive disappear after one, two or three days. I recreate them, and they disappear again. It seems to happen after the 2nd or 3rd reboot of the VM. I would really appreciate some help with this issue. Thanks very much!
