Apparently it does. :) Thanks!

Another solution, probably even better: use "Assign applications" instead of rules.

Do "Assign applications" settings remain permanent? Or do I have to assign windows after reboot?

An app copied by a rule - popup menus start disappearing

Post by joon » 25.01.2014 08:31:14

Hi,

Currently this happens with SublimeText 3 and foobar2000. I have them in desktop rules which copies them to All desktops.
Condition is Executable is foobar2000.exe. As soon as I apply rules, all popup menus (main menu, context menu) disappear immediately upon clicking. For example, in foobar2000, when I do right-click, the context menu appears and disappears immediately. As soon as I remove the rule with foobar2000 and apply, it goes back to normal.

I played around this a little bit, and found that this happens in the desktops where foobar2000 is copied to. For example, when I have a rule which copies foobar2000 to Desktop 3, then in Desktop 3, menu disappearing happens. But in Desktop 2, where foobar2000 originally was invoked, it is okay - menu appears and stays there until I click on something.

I'm using Windows 8.1, Dexpot 1.6.11.2394

Best,
Joon
