Thanks, actually I discovered a workaround: using a blank start orb seems to prevent it from obstructing the taskbar.

The start button disappears again when Dexpot is closed.

The space usually occupied by the start button remains hidden, but the button reappears over the rest of the taskbar.

When running Start Killer the start button reappears after exiting DexControl. Is there any fix for this? Thanks.
