Hello,
Since I installed dexpot, a window which is normally not shown on the screen or the taskbar is now showing in both, on all of the multiple desktops that dexpot enables. I am on Windows 8.
The window is part of a program for smartcards called ActivClient. I have updated it to the latest version. The window is just a small bar with no controls and it has the title "acevents"
In Dexpot I have tried:
1) right-clicking on the dexpot shortcut menu and I have chosen to run it as administrator.
2) Creating a desktop rule, where I have used the following rules:
a) used crosshair to id the window title as "accrdsub" (not what it actually says in the title)
b) used crosshair to id the exe as accrdsub.exe
c) used my eyes to id the window title as acevents
all of the rules are "contains" and I am using an OR condition. My action is to move the window to desktop 4 where it will be out of the way. It just sits there on all of my desktops instead.
3) I have tried going to the "Desktop Windows" control screen but I can't find this window listed.
4) I have gone to "Assign Applications" and have found accrdsub.exe and assigned it to desktop 4. (in the window it is id'd as "ActivIdentity Event Service"
I really can't find anything else I can try. Any ideas? Below is a picture of the offending window. Thanks!
