But it doesn´t explain why the button-order isn´t kept.
Who said anything about "manipulating windows" ?
I don´t want to do anything with those 2 windows......
For your information, other multidesktop-programs don´t behave like Dexpot.

Desktops from Windows Sysinternals Suite:
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb842062There are no "elevated" windows on all desktops, the new desktops are "clean" in that aspect.
Although the icons from desktop #1 are also on the new desktops, which is a PITA....
But the original button-order on desktop #1
is restored when swiching back.
And this is with Desktops running "normally", not elevated !So don´t say it´s impossible....
