Minimized windows have to be restored in the background in order to get live previews. Accordingly, the lag you're seeing when closing the catalog view is caused by re-minimizing them.

No, but this has been requested before and will probably be added in a future version. This would of course eliminate the delay.

I'm running Dexpot 1.6.4 build 2186 on Windows 7 SP1 x64 with Radeon HD 7850 and it appears there is a slight lag in the window catalog animation when returning from the full screen preview to the selected window if some windows are minimized on that desktop. The more windows that are minimized, the more noticable the lag becomes. Otherwise when no windows are in a minimized state the window catalog animation is smooth. Is there a disadvantage to having minimized windows when showing a window catalog? Also is there an option to exclude minimized windows from showing in the window catalog?
