Yes that is exactly the functionality that I was looking for.
I've done that with the majority of the programs, except with Google Chrome. I actually like how when I switch desktop and launch Chrome it opens up a new instance of the application for every desktop.

Once again, great software :)

Have you tried "Assign applications"? Select your browser, music player, etc. from the list and assign them to "all desktops". You probably have to restart the programs for the assignment to take effect.

Is this the functionality you're looking for?

So what I need to do is to turn off "Keep all taskbar buttons visible"

- I understand that it's your design decision to do it like that, but you must understand that there are some programs, that should always be running and accessible from every desktop ( chat, browser, music). Maybe this could be a feature request ? :)

Anyway, excellent peace of software, keep up the good work :)

Issue with switching running applications

Strange issue or not?
Whenever I click on application icon in the taskbar, Dexpot switches to the desktop from which that application was started.
So if I start Chrome on desktop 1, manually switch to desktop 2 and click the Chrome icon in the taskbar, it switches back to desktop 1 automatically.
It happens with every application I launch.

I've tried all options in "Behavior of windows on other desktops"
But nothing seems to work, it's always the same.

Essentially what I want is to not to switch to another desktop when I click on the application in the taskbar that is not from the currently active desktop.

- Also, is it possible to launch another instance of Chrome on the desktop that has no currently active Chrome instances (basically two different instances of Chrome on two different desktops)
