I have the same problem. I installed Dexpot with 5 virtual screens. After selecting a picture as background for screen 3 (with Desktop configurator) the same picture also appeared in screen 1 and 2. However I want to show different background for different functional groups.

It is absolutely impossible to get rid of it.
Selecting another picture, removing it or selecting a background color does not work.
Desktop configurator however shows the original desktop color

I tried this both with Dexpot 1.5 and 1.6 beta.

How can I solve this?

Thank you For replying, No I'm not trying to set up a 'slide show'.
I placed a image for 'Desktop 1' and a seperate image for Desktop 2 I then changed my mind and deleted them. They deleted OK in 'configure desktops' but they remained when I switched to either desktop, I had to delete them in the Dexpot folder.

the purpose of the Dexpot background customization is to set one background for each virtual desktop (see 'Settings/Switching Desktops/Customize background' if you want to disable it).

Are you trying to set up a slideshow?

PLEASE HELP
I have just downloaded 'Dexpot' and the description is just what I am looking for, but unfortuantly it dosn't seem to work correctly. I am running Windows XP (all uptodates) and I have tried 3 Installations and many man hours trying to get it to work correctly.
The main problem (there are others) is I tried various background images on 'Desktop 2' but found it was being repeated on 1, so I decided to remove the images using 'configue Desktops' which it APPEARED to do, but alas it still shows even though the path in 'configue Desktops' is empty and not showing any image.
I have tried saving and re-loading profiles, removing image from Windows using control panel etc.
I have spent many hours on this and I'm afraid I will have to abandon Dexpot if a solution is not found.
