no. The icon will pop up on your current desktop.

If you use Dexpot 1.5.x, they'll all merge, yes.

1) Desk Drive is a software that adds a desktop icon pointing to the drive automatically. Remove the media and the shortcut goes away. Is it possible to make this software work on every desktop defined di dexpot?

2) What will happen to the icons in desktop 2,3,4 should I decide to uninstall? WIll they merge to desktop 1 or...?
